Pics from London!

The Tower Bridge, not London Bridge!
Cruisin' down the Thames! Pic of Parliament House and Big Ben.

It's sooo amazing here. Imagine ... we're seeing buildings that were built in the 1200's. That's older than any building in the United States. The architecture is amazing, mixed with the old and the new. I just assumed that everything would be old, but there are some amazing, modern buildings here too.
The traffic is horrific! I'm sooo glad I didn't let your dad drive here, or Dennis for that matter! You'll be going along in one lane and all of a sudden it ends ... no warning ... it just ends. When you're riding in the top of a double decker bus it looks like you are going to hit the vehicle in front of you when coming to a stop. There were a few audible sighs heard on the bus when we thought we had a few close calls! No worries. We hear that phrase a lot. It's cute!
There's a LOT of people too. It reminds me a lot of walking the streets in Manhattan, New York. Only you're hearing a LOT of different languagues. This sounds like the melting pot of the world. Rarely do I hear a true British accent, and I long to hear their lovely lilt.
We're gettin' on a train tomorrow and riding to Bath, about a 90 minute ride. We're meeting some friends of Dennis and he's going to show us the sites in and around Bath. We should have some lovely pictures to share with you tomorrow.
Everyone is sooo nice and helpful. We are loving it here. You really need to save your money and come visit England. You'll love it!
Cheerio!

I'm glad that you got your suitcases.
Your pics are great and it sounds like you are having a ball. Maybe we should put England on our list of places to go . . .
Continue to have a safe and fun time!

Linda, I absolutely love England! London is one of my favorite cities in the world. We lived about 90 miles north of London for 3 glorious years and I would dearly love to go back. Enjoy the rest of your visit!
