Couldn't sleep so got up to check the comments on my blog. Wow ... how surprised I was to see so many beautiful promises of a brighter tomorrow and thank-you's. You all brought tears to my eyes. The best part of my job was getting to know and love you demonstrators. I will keep in touch with you through my blog and encourage you anyway I can in your business endeavors!
Hmmm ... I'm already thinking about some creative ways to use my God given talents!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You ... Many Times Over!
Well ... I'm just an ordinary granny with 28 beautiful grandkids, 7 fabulous children, and 1 fantastic husband!
My fantastic husband and I met while both serving missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, in the Gulf States Mission. This mission included Mississippi, Louisiana, part of Tennessee, and most of Arkansas. While in the mission field we were committed to the service of the Lord and of course no dating was involved. But two dates after our missions we were engaged and married two months later. Life has been wonderful with my Lynn!
While raising our 7 children I helped supplement our income by teaching vocal lessons, babysitting, and doing hair, all in the comfort of my home.
I'm currently employed at World Joy, a nonprofit organization improving health and education in the Atiwa District of Ghana, Africa.
Now, we have been called to serve as full time Public Affair Specialists for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Africa South East Area, living in Johannesburg, South Africa for 23 months. We are beyond excited since we will have each other as full-time companions 24/7.
It REALLY is a wonderful life!

From a fellow demonstrator...you are truly loved Linda.
I'm passing along my favorite scripture as a word of encouragement for you today. Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Have a beautiful and blessed day :)
Linda,
I'm so sad. I have looked forward to seeing you and hearing you present for years! You have inspired me over the years, made me laugh and given me encouragement! I don't understand why this happened, but I do know that you will be fine and that things will be wonderful for you again, and I'm sure very soon. Great things happen to great people (you), and again you have always been a wonderful, wonderful part of Stampin' Up! for me!
If you need a vacation, before you get started on your next great adventure in life, I've got an extra bedroom here in Hawaii that's calling your name!
Love, Jacque
Linda...
I just can't believe the news. I am SOOOOO sad. I am SOOOOO blessed to have gotten to know you through the many years in SU and from your trip to Hawaii. My heart is so heavy and reading the many comments left on your blog makes me want to cry even more. You made your mark and you have touched so many lives. Please continue to do what you do best. You are a heaven-sent angel that God allowed to live among us and bless us. Thank you for giving us that glimpse. Please stay in touch, even if not personally. I pray God's best for you and along with Jacque, if you ever want to vacation in Hawaii, you are more than welcome to stay here too! We have a car for you as well!!!!
God bless you and yours...
Love you,
Tish
Thanks so much for all you have done to inspire us (me) and for sharing yourself with us. You are amazing, talented and loved - I know that God has great things for you! I'll be praying for you - please know that you will be truly missed.
Linda,
You have been such an inspiration to my business -- I'm so sorry to hear that you have been let go. I know God doesn't close a door without opening a window but it's tough waiting for the window to open. I hope this is just a temporary thing -- SU can't afford to lose such talented people!
Karen
WOW - I am missing you already. For as long as I have been a demo you have been my idol. I love your presentations and have looked forward to every convention and regional I went to to see you there. You have made my years with SU that much more fun. You have been inspiring and encouraging and just a great women! Thank you Thank you Thank you for all you have given to me.
I appreciate all that you have done. I know the Lord has plans for you that we can't even imagine. You are need somewhere and for that I am sure.
Where ever you go you will bring much with you. You are an awesome person and I will continue to follow your blog to see where He takes you.
Enjoy your life and never look back!
I am sadden that they did not thank you for all that you gave and gave while at SU. You were an asset that will be sorely missed for sure.
Hugs and Prayers as you begin this new journey.
May God continue to Bless You and your family.
Annette
You are a very talented and wonderful woman, I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the door that God has opened for you.
I have book marked your blog so I can come back and see what you are up to. Convention, the training videos and regionals are just not going to be the same without you.
Linda, wow. My heart sank and my jaw dropped at the news of you and other very loved SU! staff members being let go. You've made an incredible difference in the lives of many and lived up to the statement of the heart on many levels.
I celebrate you on a wonderful career with SU! and wish you continued success wherever God leads you. You will be missed but never forgotten. SU! events will not be the same without you.
Linda
I know about not being able to sleep. The hollow feeling you feel. The disappointment that you were not valued, but you know what, you are a good person, fun person, with lots of love and talent you will go far.
There is a reason for this. God felt you are needed elsewhere!
I am a demonstrator that is not as successful as everyone else and you know what...you never made anyone feel less of a person. You were always cheerful. Always answered questions...I will definitely miss you!
Linda,
I am so sad to hear of the events of the last couple of days. You truly make up the heart of SU and I'm sorry to see that's not the case anymore.
I know you'll be successful in whatever you take on as your next challenge.
best of luck
Suzanne
I am soooo sad!!! Here is another reason to think twice about going to convention this year. I have always look forward to seeing you at the Stampin' Up! events and you have always been such an inspiration to me! You will be missed!

Oh Linda, I will so miss you at convention this year! You were such a bright shining star and always so encouraging, positive, and delightful. I'm hoping and praying that SU! will contract you guys back for convention, they just won't be the same. I'll follow you on your blog (now that I've found it), will keep those who have been laid off in my prayers, and look forward to hear your voice all the way in Florida!
Best of everything to you!

Linda,
I'm SO sad to hear the news! You and Jaron were my highlight at ANY SU event and things will just NOT be the same without you there!! From my very first event you always made a point of stopping and saying hi to me when you saw me and as I was traveling along to most of my early events it REALLY made me feel welcome at the events. I'm so SAD today to read this news and I'll miss seeing you on stage SO MUCH! I'm already jealous of whatever comapny out there is about to land your talents!!!
